It began with brainstorming ways to introduce my new read, and turned into a funny/mildly terrifying realization.

Rare Bird Books
I recently picked up Camgirl, a memoir by Isa Mazzei. Why yes – funny you brought that up, it is very different than the previous 18th century gothic historical fiction novel I last reviewed. Or, so I thought.
“I’m so diverse!” I toted. “To learn all, you must read all!” Well, this was where it escalated…
If anyone needs a reminder, we’re currently surviving a global pandemic. We’ve been told not leave our homes , and I, being a responsible citizen, have followed these rules and today marks something like Quarantine Day 8.
It absolutely makes sense that my subconscious shows interest in a novel about a man locked in a basement and met with zero human interaction for seven years. How does Camgirl come in?

Again, if you’re not up to date: Because of this pandemic, our economy has gone to ruin. People are out of jobs, the U.S. Government is about to pass a $2 trillion stimulus bill. We’re talking about “war-time” measures.
Meanwhile, we have Ms. Isa pulling in close to $16,000 her first MONTH of webcamming from inside her apartment.
Again: inside her apartment.
On that note, I rest my case.
